Hello everybody! Don't miss this year's picnic. Before the busy summer sets in, use this great opportunity and come to catch up with old friends or make new ones. This is everybody's favorite outdoor event of the year. After an afternoon spent in always-sunny Fort Washington State Park, grilling, chilling and chatting, songs and sausages.

++ Fun event for all age groups and families with or without children
++ Games and sports on fresh air
++ Home-made food, pot-luck style
++ Meet old friends and make new ones!

Bring along your friends! Also bring your favorite picnic dish to share with others. This is pot luck style of (preferably) home-made dishes. The Philadelphia branch of the Czech and Slovak Heritage Association will provide beverages and some meat for the grill.

If you play a guitar or other musical instrument, bring that too.

Pets are welcome as long as they stay on the leash and under control at all times. Keep in mind that alcohol is not allowed in the park.

We finalized the picnic site, here a some helpful directions: If arriving in a car, you can access the state park either from Skippack Pike (Rt. 73) or from Militia Hill Road. Our picnic area is located near parking lot #1. If you arrive from Skippack Pike (Rt. 73) via Joshua Road, continue straight at the Observation Deck, then turn left. If you enter the park from Militia Hill Road, simply turn right.
